❤️DUFFY – A True Survivor Ready for His Second Chance🐾
Meet Duffy, a 3-year-old Segugio with a heart full of courage and eyes that have seen too much — yet still hold hope.
Duffy’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. He was rescued from a horrific situation where he’d been locked in a cage and abandoned by a man running an illegal breeding and “training” operation. When found, Duffy was emaciated, dehydrated, and covered in bite wounds — a silent witness to cruelty no dog should ever endure.
Thankfully, farm workers nearby heard his cries and stepped in to save him. For the first time in a long while, Duffy was shown kindness — and despite everything, he responded with nothing but gentleness and trust.
Duffy is now safe at the shelter and has been nothing but friendly, calm, and sweet. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and seems to know that better days are ahead.
Now, we’re looking for a very special home for him — one filled with patience, peace, and love. He’s ready to start again, to swap fear for comfort, and to become someone’s deeply devoted companion.
