We honestly don't understand how Benji is still waiting.
This gorgeous little Kokoni boy is approximately 11–12 years old, small in size and, quite simply, an absolute sweetheart. ❤️
Benji spent his life as somebody's dog. He knew what it was to have a family and a home — and then somehow, in his later years, he found himself behind shelter walls.
But please don't look at Benji's age and imagine a sad little old dog simply looking for somewhere to sleep.
That isn't Benji. 🥹
Benji is happy, playful, affectionate and full of life. He adores people, loves cuddles and attention and is wonderful with other dogs. He's a funny, loving little character who still has so much enjoyment ahead of him — and an enormous amount of love left to give.

Benji doesn't know that people might consider him too old. He only knows that once he had a family, and now he doesn't.
He needs a warm bed, gentle hands, plenty of cuddles and somebody who will make him part of a family again.
Please don't let the number 11–12 stop you from seeing the dog in front of you. Benji isn't finished living. He is waiting to start living again. ❤️
His golden years shouldn't be spent watching life through shelter walls. They should be filled with walks, snoozes on the sofa, treats, cuddles and the wonderful security of knowing that this time, he's home for good. 🏡
